Well, we might still not have a new F-Zero game, but the announcement of F-Zero 99 is probably the next best thing.
Earlier today, we reported that there would be both a Nintendo Direct and a State of Play today. Well, we’ve now had the former, and there’s plenty to report, but one of the biggest reveals was that F-Zero 99, a 99-player online version of the original SNES game that will be released today for members of Nintendo Switch Online, and it’s compatible with the Nintendo Switch Online SNES controller.
I guess we now know why Pac-Man 99 is closing, as we reported previously.
