Awesome Games Done Quick returns to in-person events

Awesome Games Done Quick has announced a return to in-person events which will be held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Following the announcement that Mike Uyama, the founder of Games Done Quick, is departing the company, the latest event - Awesome Games Done Quick - has come to a close. The week-long marathon speedrunning event has raised an impressive $2,642,493 for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. Games Done Quick founder departs, raises awesome $41m

Awesome Games Done Quick 2023

Games Done Quick, the speedrunning showcase events have raised plenty of cash for charities over the years, including £135k for the Malala Fund in the summer, and £3 million for Doctors Without Borders before that. The next event, Awesome Games Done Quick 2023, will be online-only, and will now take place between 8th-15th January 2023, with proceeds going to the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
