We love a good shooter here at Fusion and we've been covering the release of the Ray'Z collection since its announcement last year. Taito's Ray series has been a shooter fan favourite since its first release, RayForce, to arcades in 1994. It has since gone on to spawn two sequels and has been released in various guises on retro and current consoles. Now, two new collections are set for release.

Taito’s Rays Arcade Chronology release date announced

Arcade legends Taito have revealed a 9th March 2023 release date for its upcoming Rays Arcade Chronology. The three game collection features shooter classics RayForce, Raystorm, and RayCrisis and will be released on PS4 and Switch. Pre-orders on Amazon in Japan go live July 12th 2022. All three titles have been faithfully recreated with two additional ports featuring new 3D graphics. There is also some extra goodies for collector fans
