Sarah Jane Avory Strikes Back on the C64!

Having previously announced, and scrapped, plans to write and release a game called Bayraktar in aid of Ukrainian charities, Sarah Jane Avory has instead programmed Strikeback, which is available for the C64 now, for the same cause. The game is a horizontally-scrolling shmup, very much in the vein of the arcade classic Scramble, where you fly behind enemy lines blowing up tanks and missile launchers. Tractors appear to tow away

Sarah Jane Avory is droning on with Bayraktar

Sarah Jane Avory, coder of recent Commodore 64 classics Neutron, Zeta Wing, Soul Force and The Briley Witch Chronicles, has tentatively started work on a mysterious new game. It's to be called Bayraktar, which is the name of an unmanned combat drone. Details are minimal as work only started on 9th March, but given the inspiration behind it and Sarah Jane's past works, and the knowledge it's using the Zeta
