As you may have gathered, we’re big fans of Street Fighter 6 here at Fusion R Gamer, and have been ever since Fusion mag editor Ben Honebone fought his way into the game’s closed beta, back in 2022.
So, we’re pleased as punch (and kick, and fireball) to see Capcom continuing to add new content to the game.
The latest character to join the Street Fighter 6 roster will be the demonic Akuma, who first appeared in the series in 1994’s Super Street Fighter II Turbo.
Akuma will be added to the game on 22nd May 2024, along with outfit 3 options for all year 1 characters, which will be made available to Year 1 Ultimate Pass owners on this date, along with the Enma’s Hollow stage, in addition to battle balance updates for all characters.
