Kotaku have brought our attention to the Mouse cartoon FPS, a new FPS boasting a stylish 1930s cartoon style, in a similar vein to the brilliant run-and-gun title Cuphead.
Given the Disney-baiting title of ‘Mouse,’ the game is the work of the indie games studio Fumi Games, who describe the game as “a gritty, jazz-fueled shooter. With guns blazing and a retro rubber hose animation style.”
The Mouse cartoon FPS is due out on PC, Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation on an as yet unspecified date, with an exact release date yet to be confirmed, so there might be a bit of a wait before you can enjoy this mash-up of Steamboat Willie and Doom, but speaking of Steam, you can wishlist the game on there right now!
But is it retro? Well, we think a game inspired by the aesthetics of 90-year-old cartoons is retro enough for us!
