Galatic Wars EX is a retro-inspired shmup that was released on Steam earlier this year by developer VolcanoBytes. The arcade shooter is getting a physical release on PS4 courtesy of Indie publisher VGNYsoft and set for release later in the year with no scheduled pre-ordered date yet.
The physical is limited to 1,500 numbered units and looks to be a USA exclusive currently. The game itself features 40 bosses, chiptunes and you can fly solo or team up with a friend in local co-op. There is also a variety of weapons and power-ups and its in 60FPS HD.
