As I’m sure you know, Atari 50 is Digital Eclipse’s lovingly-made and very well-received compilation of and celebration of Atari’s classic games. Indeed, on this very site, we’ve said that “Atari 50 sets a new retro compilation standard“.
Over on Twitter, Digital Eclipse have teased their first update for Atari 50, which is due for release soon.
The first update for Atari 50 will add DIP switch settings for the arcade games on the compilation. The settings will be accessed via the arcade games’ options menus. Digital Eclipse also promise some “surprises” in the update.
Atari 50 is available to buy now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series S|X, Xbox One, and PC, and if you’re interested in gaming history, you really should pick up a copy and have an “Atari Teenage Riot” as you celebrate 50 years of Atari!
