The latest Games Done Quick all-women speedrunning event – Frost Fatales 2023 – has now finished, and raised a staggering $150k for charity. Over the course of eight days, 65 different speed runs were broadcast live on Twitch, and highlights have now been uploaded onto YouTube.
Proceeds this time go to the Malala fund, a nonprofit organisation that helps girls around the world go to school. To date, the GDQ organisation has raised over $43.9 million for charity.
The next all-women GDQ charity fundraising event, Frame Fatales, is scheduled for the summer.
