Varney lake is the second visual novel in a series mid-20th century pulp fiction and ‘80s home computer graphics from developer LCB Game Studio and publisher Chorus Worldwide. It’s set for release on 28th April 2023 and will be available on Steam, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Varney Lake’s story centres around three individuals that each have different routes and choices. “We love how differently Varney Lake approaches horror compared to Mothmen 1966,” said Chorus Worldwide CEO Shintaro Kanaoya about the first game. “The first Pixel Pulp installment hid its cryptic truths in the dark surrounding woods — Varney Lake hides them in plain sight.”
