Popular YouTube channel Noclip has rescued thousands of old video tapes featuring video game content from the landfill. In a short introduction video to what they have found, the team announce that much of the content on the tapes will have been previoulsy lost or not seen until television. The tapes have game footage and interviews as well as tv spots on them.
The six minute video shows lots of outtakes from what the yhave watched and archived so far, much of it from the early 2000s. The unique collection was destined for the tip but has been saved and is now in the process of being digitised to hard drives. We will wait to see what goodies come from the project.
