We previously reviewed the enjoyable Switch release of the PC Engine title Cyber Citizen Shockman.
And now, the third game in the series, Cyber Citizen Shockman 3: The Princess from Another World, which was originally released in Japan only, on PC Engine in 1992, is finally making its way westwards, when it shocks its way onto Xbox One/Series S|X, PlayStation 5/4 and Nintendo Switch on Friday 3rd May 2024.
Citizen Shockman 3: The Princess from Another World was the first game in the series to be released on CD, which allowed for the inclusion of animated cutscenes with voice acting.
Cyber Citizen Shockman 3: The Princess from Another World was produced by Toshiro Tsuchida, who also worked as a producer in Cyber Citizen Shockman 2: A New Menace, as well ascult favourites such as Gley Lancer, Langrisser, and Assault Suits Valken. He later founded development studio G-Craft, and after Square Enix purchased G-Craft, he worked on the Final Fantasy series.
This modern, Western release of the game will be published by indie publisher Ratalaika Games.
