We brought you the news of the Atari 2600+ in August, and can now update that UK Atari fans can now pre-order the modernised Atari hybrid. Amazon is handling the UK orders and it’s priced at £99.99. It only comes with ten games so we will have to see how much value it is at this price point.
The Atari 2600+ features HDMI output for use with modern displays, the ability to play both original 2600 and 7800 carts, and a full-size original CX40+ Joystick. It also has a HDMI lead and USB power cable included so should be good to go right out of the box.
The included 10-in-1 game cartridge features some of Atari’s most famous games: Adventure, Combat, Dodge ‘Em, Haunted House, Maze Craze, Missile Command, RealSports Volleyball, Surround, Video Pinball, Yars’ Revenge. Look out for our full review coming soon.
