Capcom published their financial results for the six-month period ending 30th September 2022 yesterday (Tuesday 25th October).

Although figures show a dip in net sales, the figures also suggest the Japanese games company is on track to hit its 10th consecutive year of operating income growth. If you’re really interested in Capcom’s performance, a press release including figures is available on Capcom’s website.

Capcom put this success down to strong sales for this year’s Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, as well as strong digital sales of back catalogue titles.

Even a global pandemic and resulting global economic turmoil hasn’t been enough to defeat the profit-making behemoth of Capcom! It must be tougher than M Bison! And with games such as Street Fighter 6 and a next-gen remake of Resident Evil 4 on the horizon, Capcom’s future is looking very healthy indeed.
