Evercade’s Game of the Month for July went live this weekend.
July’s Game of the Month might more accurately be described as three games of the month, as it is the three-game compilation ‘The Cowlitz Gamers’ Adventure Trilogy’.
The new Game of the Month can be accessed by downloading the latest system software to the Evercade VS console. The Games of the Month will be released on the Indie Heroes 2 cartridge later this year.
All three games that make up July’s Game of the Month are 8-bit single-screen platformers in the vein of the Miner Willy games or Lode Runner. And like the aforementioned games, the games are punishingly difficult!
For added retro nostalgia, the games have three visual options: “NES”, “GameBoy” and “Old TV”.
Based on the games previewed so far, Indie Heroes 2 is shaping up to be a cracker!
