Yesterday, we reviewed the enjoyable N64-style platform game Super Kiwi 64 from Diplodocus Games.
Now, Diplodocus Games have announced that 4 of their previous indie-style platformers are being compiled for physical release on Nintendo Switch. Super Retro Platformer Collection comprises the games, Commander Keen in Keen Dreams, MacBat 64, Regina & Mac, and Toree 3D.
The games are already available individually as digital releases on the Nintendo eshop, but this new compilation gives collectors of physical Nintendo Switch games the chance to own and enjoy these cheap and cheerful retro platformers.It’s relatively rare that smaller indie games like these receive a physical release on Switch, so if you’re a collector of physical Switch games and you enjoy old-school platforming, you won’t want to miss this!
The collection will be published physically by indie publisher Leoful Games on 13th January 2023.
