As you probably know by now, the Evercade game of the Month is made available to users of the Evercade VS and Evercade EXP (and soon the Evercade Alpha) simply by updating to the console’s latest system software each month. Each game remains playable until the console’s system software is updated again, then all of the previous year’s Evercade Game of the Month titles are compiled on the next year’s Indie Heroes cartridge, allowing them to be played forever.
The June 2024 Evercade Game of the Month is the third of the year so far, with the programme kicking off in April each year.
Available now, the June 2024 Evercade Game of the Month is Nyghtmare: The Ninth King, a Castlevania-influenced dark-fantasy Game Boy Color platform game developed by indie developer Elvies.
