The new Mickey Mouse-starring 2D adventure platformer Disney Illusion Island will offer co-op play for up to four players, as the game also features other Disney characters in the forms of Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy in addition to the star, Mickey Mouse. Disney Illusion Island will be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch. The game will be released on the console in 2023.
Gamers of a certain vintage may be reminded of the Mega Drive’s superb Castle of Illusion. Let’s hope this new game is even half as good as that!
The new game was revealed at the Disney & Marvel Games Showcase at Disney’s D23 Expo fan event in Anaheim on 9th September.
