Ninty Fresh is a Nintendo inspired retro magazine that focuses on retrospectives, interviews and features. Each issue features a different series from Nintendo’s vast array of characters and Issue 6 focuses on everyone’s favourite video game ape, the mighty Donkey Kong! The team have just gone live with the Kickstarter and have several options from a digital only copy to full on packages with posters and pin badges as well as the printed magazine itself.
Features Editor, Abram Buehner, told Fusion that “Ninty Fresh Issue 6 is giving the DK Crew the spotlight that they deserve! We’re all huge Donkey Kong fans here at Ninty HQ, and we weren’t going to pass up the opportunity to celebrate Nintendo’s first (and finest, in my humble opinion!) mascot in the pages of our magazine. We’ve prepared a huge spread of custom artwork and thoughtful features to pay tribute to the franchise. The entire team was really firing on all cylinders here, and anyone interested in both Nintendo’s past as well as its present should grab a copy. After all, if we don’t evangelize Donkey Kong Hockey and Donkey Konga 2, who will?”
