Carnal for Switch logo

We were recently impressed by GyroBlade, a 1980s-style vertically-scrolling shmup for Switch from indie retro publisher Tendokore. Retro Faith reviewed the game here on Fusion R Gamer, lavishing praise upon it, and having also played it, I was equally impressed!

Well, Tendokore have announced that their next Switch game has now between submitted for certification. This time, Tendokore are channelling 1996 rather than the 1980s, with Carnal, an FPS in the style of early FPSs.

Carnal was developed by JG Roos and was released for PC back in 2021, from publisher MercySoft. And if you’re a PC gamer rather than a Switch gamer, you might like to know that there’s currently 51% off the PC version on Steam.

The PC version was overwhelmingly well-reviewed, so we look forward to Tendokore releasing Carnal for Switch.

I’m delighted to have shared this “Carnal knowledge” with you. Fnar! Fnar!

I've been playing video games since the 1980s, from the 8-bit era onwards. I have had to play one-handed following a stroke in 2014, and I blog about playing games with one hand.
