Pixel Starships, from developer SavySoda, has left orbit and landed on Steam today. You take command of your starship and manage everything that happens on board. You get to design your craft, manage diplomacy with other starships and start wars with those who resist your power.
It caught our eye due to its lovely 8bit pixel art and its in-depth alliance system that allows players to join forces to conquer the galaxy. The online game is free to play but does include some optional purchases for those wanting to move the game on quicker.
