Pix’n Love and SNK have officially announced the physical release of The Last Blade II for PlayStation 4. Revealed during the recent ‘Japanese Fighting Game Developer Round Table’ stream, the classic NEO GEO arcade game will be released in three different variations.
A standard edition in a plain PS4 game case with a reservable cover. A Collectors Edition with a host of extras (above) , and a Deluxe Edition, which features a print signed by artist Tonko on authentic Washi paper.
The Last Blade II is a fantastic and beautiful game. It was made when SNK was at the height of its pixel-pushing powers and features a robust combat system with plenty of depth.
This is the latest in the series of NEO GEO shock-boxes that Pix’n Love has been producing for SNK games. I recently picked up the collectors edition of The King Of Fighter XV and I was not disappointed by the quality of the package.
