Sir Ian Livingstone’s Judge Dredd board game has been re-released today, available from Rebellion’s 2000 AD shop.
Livingstone is a well-known figure among tabletop and video gamers. He’s one of the founders of Games Workshop, and co-creator of Fighting Fantasy books. As for video games, Livingstone is a former president and CEO of Eidos, who launched Tomb Raider, and were bought by Square Enix in 1996.
Livingstone’s Judge Dredd board game is be beautifully illustrated by 2000 AD artists of the time, including Brian Bolland and Ian Gibson.
The new version of the game has been published by Rebellion Unplugged, the board game division of video game publisher Rebellion, who have owned and published 2000 AD since the actual year 2000 AD!
The reissued game is a must for fans of the character, for long-term squaxx Dek Thargo and fans of classic board games alike.
