Nintendo Switch Online has continued its quest to catch ‘em all, where the “‘em” in question are classic Pokemon games previously released for retro formats. The latest Nintendo Switch Online Pokemon games to be added to the catalogue for subscribers are Game Boy Colour’s Pokemon Trading Card Game and Nintendo 64’s Pokemon Stadium 2, the sequel to Pokemon Stadium (obv!), which hit the service back in April.
Both games hit the Nintendo Switch Online yesterday (Tuesday 8th August 2023). Have you caught ‘em yet?
As always, the Game Boy Colour title is available to all Nintendo Switch Online subscribers, while the Nintendo 64 title is only available to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers.
Both Pokemon Trading Card Game and Pokemon Stadium 2 were originally released in the year 2000. That’s 23 years ago. Feeling old yet?!
