Golden Sun, and its sort-of sequel ‘Golden Sun: The Lost Age will be added to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack catalogue on Wednesday 17th January 2024.
Golden Sun is a Game Boy Advance side-scrolling RPG originally released back in 2001, with Golden Sun: The Lost Age following a year later, and offering what is effectively a second chapter to the game.
These GBA games were developed by Camelot and published by Nintendo as first-party titles. The games were previously rereleased as part of the Wii U’s Virtual Console offering.
We know there has been plenty of debate over whether or not the Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription offers value for money, but we certainly appreciate the opportunity to play games like this that we might have missed the first time around. What do you think?
