The recent release of Tomb Raider I-III Remastered has become quite popular with new and old fans alike, so much so we had a look back at our favourite games in the series. Part One details our least favourite titles – although there’s only really a couple that we’re not fans of, and Part Two showcases the cream of the crop.
One gamer who has been playing through the remasters however has found an easter egg that points to the possibility of another remaster – namely Tomb Raider 4: The Last Revelation. Within the third game’s High-Security Compound area, Twitter/X user danthedan20 has found a radar screen that provides a release date for the collection, along with the coordinates of Giza, and the word Next.
As we know, Giza is one of the locations from The Last Revelation. Could this be a teaser for a new remaster, possibly for the next trilogy of games? Given the success of this remaster, I certainly wouldn’t rule it out.
