Despite its name, Golden Lap isn’t a dubious adults-only entertainment emporium but is the title of an upcoming F1 management game described by publishers Funselektor as “a minimalistic racing strategy game.”
The game certainly sounds like it’ll be a must for fans of motorsports who are looking for a more cerebral video gaming experience than the usual fast-paced racing games.
In the 70s-set game, you become the team principal of a racing team in the tumultuous golden era of Open-Wheel Racing. You’ll manage your team in style and oversee thrilling races to pave the road to victory season after season.
Golden Lap has been developed by indie publisher Funselektor in conjunction with indie studio Strelka Games and will be racing its way onto Steam later this year, so if you fancy yourself as a 1970s-style Christian Horner (not like that!) this could be the game for you!
