In 2010, American developer Sivak Games released Battle Kid: Fortress of Peril for the NES. There was a limited number of indie carts produced by published RetroZone, now known as RetroUSB, with box art from Larry Bundy Jr. They have obviously long sold out, but the action platforming romp has now has a new lease of life by making its way to Xbox.
The game launched 15 April and has already received several favourable reviews from YouTube creators. The port has come courtesy of 8 Bit Legit who have already ported Trophy, another NES title, to Xbox. Battle Kid features several boarders to fill the extra space left by the games 4:3 aspect ratio and over 500 rooms to explore.
