BubbleSoftGames have posted their 2017 AGD-built Monty Mole and the Temple of Lost Souls over on itch.io. The gorgeous platformer sees you play 1980’s Speccy hero Monty Mole cosplaying as Indiana Jones as you explore a series of beautifully rendered screens to collect artefacts and make your escape with your new-found untold riches.
Monty Mole himself was the star of a number of classic Gremlin Graphics games that started with the much loved, and rock hard, Wanted Monty Mole. He went on to feature in five additional official sequels culminating in the Impossamole that saw him become something of a superhero. There was one other release – Monty: Revenge of the Mole that was released to support the SpecialEffect charity in 2013.
Monty Mole and the Temple of Lost Souls is the second BubbleSoftGames release to feature the unofficially feature character and it’s the follow-up to Monty’s Honey Run.
