There has been a lot of excitement building for Chinchilla Retro’s debut game and Postal on Dreamcast is shaping up to be one of the best indie releases the community has seen. We already brought you news of the release earlier in the year but a press release from distributor Wave Game Studios has confirmed the date.
They say that ‘twenty-five years after the game’s original release, the dream of a professional release on the classic console is finally a reality. POSTAL developers Running With Scissors have given their blessing for this brand new, no compromises version for Dreamcast.’
Postal is a new port of the PC original after the source was made freely available. It has added four player support as well as compatibility with the Dreamcast’s Twin Stick. It certainly is an exciting release and brings a well known franchise into the Dreamcast indie scene.
