The Evercade EXP black limited edition has now sold out, with all 5000 units sold on pre-order. The Evercade EXP is the new upgraded model of Blaze’s retro handheld console. The standard white edition of the EXP is not yet available to order, with pre-orders expected to open in or around September 2022. The new EXP console is compatible with all Evercade cartridges, and boats a high-resolution IPS screen, which can be rotated into TATE mode to allow vertical games to be played in their intended aspect ratio. Unlike the original Evercade, the EXP also offers built-in WiFi to make system software upgrades easier.
The Evercade EXP was announced by Blaze on Tuesday 31st May, and pre-orders for the limited edition black console at Funstock opened on Wednesday 1st June and have sold out in under two weeks.
The Evercade EXP is due to ship in winter 2022.
