The Game Boy is one of our favourite formats here at Fusion R Gamer, so it was with some excitement that we learned that another new indie game is being developed for the format.
A Spanish indie developer named Santi, working under the name Retro Nomad Games is currently developing a new Pokemon-inspired action RPG for the Game Boy, called Retro Nomad: Granada. Santi recently unveiled the game’s box art on Twitter.
Sadly, Retro Nomad: Granada is not based on the defunct ITV franchise for North West England named Granada, but is presumably set in the Spanish region of the same name, where the developer is based.
Role-playing Game Boy fans are advised to follow Retro Nomad’s Twitter account for further updates.
