A few weeks back, we reported on the release of a new C64 game from author and coder Sarah Jane Avory, which was an adventure game based on her Briley Witch Chronicles books.
Well, over on Twitter (or X, or whatever), Avory has now revealed that her first new C64 game of 2024 is to be a new shoot ‘em up.
Not only that, but Avory is currently selling her C64 back catalogue at discount prices, with 25% off every individual game, or 26% off if you buy the whole lot. over on her itch.io page, but be quick, her sale ends on Friday 5th January.

Fantastic news that Sarah is working on another shooter. I do hope there is a slightly different set of assets for sound this time though. Neutron/Santron and Zeta Wing etc. sound a bit similar. That said, that is the only niggle I have with here games which are always polished and above all great fun to play,
