Serial Cleaners is the sequel to the 2017 indie title that gives you control of four mob workers who all clean up the mess after a hit. Each level is a memory being retold by one of the cleaners as they all sit around reminiscing at Christmas. It is a delightful way to play through this action stealth game as you learn a little more character backstory with each memory.
Once you get the hang of the tight controls you will be body-bagging victims, cleaning up blood and avoiding the cops all at the same time. The pace is quite subdued but this only adds to the excitement when a cop spots you and you have to run away, GTA-style, to a hiding spot. Once the heat has calmed you can get back to the day job and complete the mission.
The graphics and sound are excellent and the level design is top notch, especially at the £11.99 price point on Steam. Serial Cleaners does become a little repetitive towards the end but this doesn’t impact on the great style and great gameplay. If you’re a fan of stealth games, humorous dialogue and something different then give Serial Cleaners a go.
