Alien Hominid HD & Alien Hominid Invasion Set to Invade (Some) Modern Formats This Year

The cartoonish side-scrolling run ‘n’ gun game Alien Hominid began life as a Flash game back in 2002, and despite such humble beginnings, it went on to get well-received ports to consoles including Nintendo GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox, which were released in 2004.

And now, almost 20 years since the game first invaded consoles, the game’s developers, The Behemoth, have announced that a new remaster of the game, Alien Hominid HD, will be coming to Steam, Nintendo Switch, XBOX One, and XBOX Series X|S, along with a new sequel, Alien Hominid Invasion. There has been no word on a release for either title on PlayStation consoles, strangely. You can wishlist Alien Hominid HD and Alien Hominid Invasion on Steam now, but no release date is given other than “2023”.
