Just in time for the spooky season, news of the much anticipated Alone in the Dark remake has reached our pumpkin patch. Alone in the Dark is being developed by Pieces Interactive in Sweden and will be coming to PC, Xbox, and PS5 on January 16th, 2024.
Alone in the Dark is a love letter to the ground-breaking original that lets you experience a haunting story through the eyes of one of the two protagonists, Edward Carnby or Emily Hartwood. This is a re-imagination of the classic 1992 survival horror game where Psychological Horror meets Southern Gothic.
It’s a shame this has been delayed, but understandable given the crowded October release schedule.
