Last week, we reported that Amiga had announced a partnership with Blaze Entertainment at their Amiga 37 Convention in Germany, but at the time, Blaze Entertainment (Evercade’s owner and manufacturer) remained tight-lipped on the matter, but they have since broken their silence and via an announcement on their Evercade blog, Blaze Entertainment have confirmed that Amiga games will be coming to Evercade in 2023 “and beyond”!
Blaze have not announced any titles as of yet, but say they intend to licence titles from “multiple publishers”.
Yeah, we know there’s already THE A500 mini, but that only has 25 built-in games, and there’s always emulation, but Amiga emulation is a bit of a faff.
This is great news for all you Evercade-owning Amga amigos y amigas out there!
