Huge news is coming out of the Antstream Arcade offices today as the retro gaming streaming service announces it is coming to the Apple App Store on 27th June 2024. This makes it the first major cloud gaming service available on iPhone and iPad. It will be launched across Europe, the United States and Brazil with over 1300 games ready to play.
“One of the main goals at Antstream is to allow gamers easy access to many of the greatest retro titles anytime, anywhere.” Says Steve Cottam, CEO of Antstream, “By coming to Apple’s App Store and being available across all iPhone and iPad devices, that goal is one step closer to reality.”
Antstream Arcade is already available on Mac, PC, mobile, Samsung TV, Linux and Xbox so this is the next logical step in achieving its goal to be accessible everywhere. Antstream has also confirmed that local co-op, weekly tournaments, challenges and global leaderboards will still be included on iOS devices.
