A post on X/Twitter from the official Atari account has announced that 39 new games are being released for the successful Atari 50 collection. The announcement also confirms that a new physical edition, which appears to be titled Expanded Steelbook Edition, will be released.
We don’t have any idea what the extra games are going to be but there are two new timeline titles, The Aider World of Atari and The First Console War, that will be explorable. It certainly sounds intriguing and brings up all sorts of tantalising games we may get to experience. We will keep you posted once we have the full list of games and hopefully a release date.
