For the first time since its crowdfunding campaign back in 2018, Atari is now allowing people to buy their own Atari VCS Collector’s Edition system directly. Each numbered edition consists of:
- Atari VCS Game System
- Atari VCS Vault, featuring 100 classic arcade and console games
- Thousands of retro games with Antstream Arcade
What may not be so welcome, is that Atari is actually doing this after promising that Collector’s Editions would be limited to the original Indiegogo backers – they’re now available to anyone, at least for the next few days. This feels a bit uncomfortable.
The Atari VCS Collector’s Edition is only available to purchase until 9th April for $299.99.
