Despite being two of the greatest inventions of all time, beer and video games rarely cross paths. The only other beer-related game that springs to mind is Tapper, and even that was disguised as “Root Beer Tapper” for home releases.
This was presumably to avoid promoting alcohol to minors. So we never saw, for example, Codemasters release “Advanced Brewery Simulator”, even though it would’ve been “absolutely brilliant!”
Today, games are more frequently aimed at us grown-ups, so a beer-based game can be released without controversy, bringing us to Brewmaster, a beer brewing simulator!
Brewmaster was released on Steam on 29th September, and console releases for Auroch Digital’s indie game are following on 27th October for PlayStation, Xbox and Switch, published by Fireshine Games.
