Temptations

Temptations is a video game developed by Luis López Navarro and published by Topo Soft back in the golden year of 1988, exclusively for the MSX platform.

Unfortunately, it was never ported to the Commodore Amiga. After so many years, the time has come for Commodore Amiga users to enjoy what is considered by many to be one of the best video games made on MSX in the history of Spanish software.

Spanish developer Soy has made the game with RedPill, based on the graphic set of the Android version of nenefranz (improving and adding some new ones), and adding new animations. Some sounds are also taken from that version. The Amiga version also contains completely original on CD-Audio tracks.

“I have made it based on the “feeling” of the MSX version, which is the one I know best, implementing the movements and “timings” of the enemies as accurately as possible so that the sensation/game experience is as close as possible to that version.”

The demo is in Spanish and can be downloaded in ADF and ISO format for the CD32. If and when the entire game has been completed, formats will be expanded to suit WHDLoad, standard hard drives, etc.

Minimum requirements:

  • Any AGA Amiga stock (2MB Chip Memory and NO hard drive). 512Kb of FastMem is recommended for proper fluency. It does not have music during the game at the moment.
  • Amiga CD32 stock. 512 KB of FastMem is recommended for proper fluency. Music from CD-Audio during the game.
