The long-running Japanese games developer and publisher Sunsoft will be announcing details on their plans to return in a livestream to take place on their YouTube channel at 9pm BST today (Thursday 18th August 2022).
Sunsoft’s history dates back to 1978 and their previous titles include the arcade titles Fantasy Zone, Arabian, and Spy Hunter. As well as the film tie-ins Platoon and Batman for Nintendo Entertainment System.
Other formats Sunsoft have previously developed and published for include Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, Sega Game Gear, Nintendo Game Boy Colour, Nintendo Game Boy Advance, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 4, and mobile phones.
Sunsoft’s most recent releases were Shanghai Refresh for Nintendo Switch and Dark Eclipse for PlayStation VR in 2018.
