Xbox put on a superb showcase this weekend with many games whetting the appetite of gamers around the world. While a new Fable and Gears of War looked amazing, it was an oldie that stole the show for us. Doom: The Dark Ages was announced for release sometime next year through an exciting new trailer. We’re huge Doom fans here at Fusion so fingers crossed this will live up to the hype.
This time, Doom Guy seems to have a story and it centres on his early days as a demon slayer as a prequel to Doom (2016) and Doom Eternal. We haven’t seen much of the gameplay but with its booming rock guitars and over-the-top weapons, this is looking like one of the games to look out for next year. Plus, it’s on Game Pass from day one, good times. Oh, it’s on PS5 and PC too.
