We Are Stardust, the game of the LukHash album, has now been given a general release on the C64. Previously only available as a bonus file on physical versions of the album, Megastyle’s endless runner game featuring the title track can now be downloaded for free (or on a pay what you want basis) from their itch.io page. As an added bonus, it now features new loading music, composed by LukHash. Garnering a very respectable 77% in Issue 3 of ZZAP! 64 Micro Action, We Are Stardust is a short-but-stylish one-level game, where learning the layout will see you gaining higher scores with the ultimate aim being to achieve a perfect run. Reaching the end of the level gives you a QR code, which you can scan to upload your score to the online leaderboard. Originally you couldn’t play the game without extracting the bonus audio file and converting it into a .TAP file, but Megastyle have thoughtfully provided the game as a disk image for your convenience. If that sounds too easy for you and you want the full experience, you can buy the CD version of the We Are Stardust album from LukHash’s Bandcamp page, but be quick as it’s a very limited edition!
