Well, after years of rumours, it’s finally happening! The Nintendo Direct presentation held today (13th September 2022) confirmed that the classic N64 version of Rare’s seminal James Bond first-person shooter Goldeneye is finally coming to the Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pass. The game will also include an online multiplayer mode.
Meanwhile, on Twitter, Rare have also confirmed that a recreated version of the game boasting 4K resolution, achievements and a smoother framerate is coming to Xbox GamePass.
Release dates have not yet been confirmed for either the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pass or the Xbox GamePass versions of the game.
