Here at Fusion R Gamer, we’re old enough to remember when the Polymega was the stuff of playground rumours. A games console that could run cartridges from multiple manufacturers?! Surely not?!
Well, these days, the Polymega is an actual thing you can buy. The Polymega works by adding different modules for each console you want to run cartridges for. And the Polymega Ultra Module for N64, named in reference to the Ni64’s working title of “Ultra 64” has just gone live for pre-order, along with an N64-themed controller to use with it.
So, will you be buying a Polymega Ultra Module for N64 (and a Polymega, if you don’t have one)? Or are you happy with emulation, the Switch Online + Expansion Pack selection of N64 games, or even the original Nintendo 64 hardware for your N64 gaming needs? Let us know your thoughts in the comments…
