Among the announcements made earlier this year at an Evercade Showcase were two dual carts featuring two new Evercade indie games. The first features Goodboy Galaxy and Witch n’ Wiz.
Goodboy Galaxy is a platform shooter originally developed for the Game Boy Advance, and Witch n’ Wiz is a platform puzzler originally developed for the NES.
The second features Demons of Asteborg & Astebros.
Demons of Asteborg is a 16-bit action playformer inspired by the likes of Castlevania and Ghosts & Ghouls. Astebros is a 16-bit roguelite platform game.
Both cartridges of new Evercade indie games are now available for pre-order, and the release date for both has been confirmed as Friday 15th December 2023.
It’s a promising sign that Blaze Electronics are increasing the number of new indie game releases for their Evercade consoles, and not just sticking to the single annual Inde Heroes releases.
Both cartridges can be pre-ordered now from the usual Evercade retailers, including Amazon, Game, and Funstock.
