House of the Dead: Remake is, as the title suggests, a remake of the first arcade game in Sega’s on-rails zombie shooter series.
The remake shuffled its way onto several formats last year, but received mixed reviews, with the PS4 version currently scoring 63 on Metacritic.
The original House of the Dead arcade game originally shuffled its way into arcades in 1996, and there was even a movie adaptation directed by the notorious Uwe Boll released in 2003 (but we don’t talk about that!)
The PS5 House of the Dead will spill its guts all over the PlayStation 5 this Friday (20th January 2023).
PlayStation 5 owners who previously purchased the PS4 version of the game can upgrade to PS5 House of the Dead Remake for free.
And if you don’t yet own House of the Dead: Remake, you can purchase PS4 or PS5 House of the Dead: Remake for half-price (£9.99) until 11.59pm tomorrow 18th January 2023).
