The new game is a horizontally-scrolling shmup, and it isn’t yet complete. The game doesn’t even have a name yet, but it already looks like a pretty impressive MegaDrive shoot ‘em up, that will surely be a must-buy for any MegaDrive-playing shmup fan.

If you’re a fan of MegaDrive shmups, like we are, we advise you to keep an eye on Yuzo Koshiro’s Twitter feed for updates on the game, including how to buy it once it’s released.

I've been playing video games since the 1980s, from the 8-bit era onwards. I have had to play one-handed following a stroke in 2014, and I blog about playing games with one hand.
